What type of export/reporting functions are available using 3.0?

Version 3.0 supports XPS exporting.

Yes, however I do not have an estimate of when. In the meantime, you could take a look at this example (http://xceed.com/CS/files/folders/jenny/entry11762.aspx), which demonstrates how to implement cut and paste to and from Excel.
